Pre-marital Counseling

Don’t just prepare for your wedding; prepare for your marriage. Lay a strong foundation to increase the likelihood of good communication patterns, frame marriage in a Biblical context, and set your relationship up for a more satisfying marriage. 

As a pastor, I have provided premarital counseling to many couples and have seen firsthand the relational benefits of that investment. 

These sessions ideally take place before the wedding and typically include:

  • personal and family history
  • relational expectations
  • God’s design for a Christian marriage, 1+1=1
  • authentic communication
  • intimacy: sexual communication in marriage
  • handling money and finances together

Some couples benefit from pre-engagement counseling. That is an option.

I am also available to officiate weddings.
