Christian Counseling

As a pastor, I’ve been counseling people in my congregations over the past three decades. Now I’m making room for providing Christian and pastoral counseling to those outside my church.

My worldview is biblical and gospel-oriented. I believe God’s interested in our healing, in experiencing forgiveness and reconciliation. My approach is typically solution-focused, brief counseling, which appreciates both psychology and spiritual realities.

Issues we experience often affect us emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually; counseling should consider the needs of the whole person. Sometimes, it’s helpful to explore your beliefs about yourself, the way others treat you, the world around you, and your future.

The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the

tongue of the wise brings healing.

Proverbs 12:18

A Note to Pastors

People in full-time ministry wear so many hats and juggle so many responsibilities. It's difficult for pastors to provide leadership in their church and maintain a caseload of people who need ongoing counseling. Our desire at Crossroads Counseling & Coaching is to assist pastors by being a referral source for those needing Christian and pastoral counseling. We are happy to take on clients and provide counseling support to pastors when required.
